How Business of Barbering Institute handles the information you share with us.
Last updated: July 24, 2026
Business of Barbering Institute (“BBI,” “we,” or “us”) is a barber school located at 208 Legends Lane, Suite 125, Lexington, KY 40505. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you use the contact form or request a tour, we collect the details you submit: your name, email address, phone number, your message or notes, what you are asking about, how you prefer to be reached, and your requested tour date and time. Providing this information is voluntary, and we only ask for what we need to respond to you.
If you choose to receive text messages, we also record your consent choice, the time you made it, and the version of the disclosure shown with the form. SMS consent is optional and is not required to submit a form, schedule a tour, apply, or enroll.
If you submit the enrollment application, we also collect the application answers and documents you upload, which may include identity documents, education records, and Social Security documentation requested for enrollment review. Please do not submit payment card numbers, passwords, or unrelated health information through the website forms.
We use your submitted information to answer your questions, schedule and confirm campus tours, review enrollment applications, discuss our programs, and follow up on your interest in the school. We do not sell your information.
We do not share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process this information only as needed to operate BBI communications.
When you affirmatively opt in, BBI may send text messages about tours, appointments, enrollment, and related follow-up. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for the complete program terms.
Form submissions are stored in a private content database (Sanity) accessible only to BBI staff, and a copy is delivered to the school by email (via Resend). Enrollment application documents are stored in a private Google Drive folder for BBI review. The website is hosted on Vercel, whose servers keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, used for security and to keep the site running.
This website may use Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) conversion tracking to understand whether school advertisements lead to contact, tour, enrollment, or phone actions on our site. Google and Meta may use cookies or similar technologies for that measurement. We may also enable privacy-friendly analytics to count visits without tracking you across sites.
Enrollment document storage uses Google Drive and is governed by Google’s privacy policy. The site also links out to our profiles on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube and to map services for directions. Once you leave this site, those services’ own privacy policies apply.
We keep contact messages, tour requests, and enrollment applications for as long as they are useful for admissions communication, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your submitted information at any time, subject to records BBI is legally or operationally required to keep.
You may contact us to review, correct, or delete the information you submitted, or to ask us to stop contacting you. Reach us by phone at (859) 271-0179 or by email at bbinstitute22@gmail.com.
If we change how the website handles your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
